+1. When I saw the length of the vid I figured I'd watch a min or two as I'm at work but ended up watching the whole thing.

Thanks for sharing! Great player and killer tones!!

You would think a Suhr endorser would know how to pronounce Suhr "sir", one syllable, and not "SEWER", two syllables. :D

Or maybe that IS how you pronounce it  if not he's Canadian ;)

I saw the title of the thread and thought you were referring to me, my mistake ;)

German name, German pronounciation (closer to Sewer than Sir).
PWNED. ;)

Maybe my favorite band of all time. I only discovered them when Albatross came and someone here posted a linked to some gear interview with Ian.

"PWED".... Haha. Spoken like a true Apprentice Noob. It is pronounced "Sir".

Don't know how "german" he is, but in german you would pronounce "zoor" (like camera "zoom").

Ian is a phenomenal guitarist and vocalist for sure.

Same here, well sort of. I was into Thornley and had heard The Oaf and maybe a couple other BW tunes when I was younger but it wasn't until Danyeo posted something about the Albatross release that I really got into them. Bought that one and Ghosts and absolutely love them both.

Ian is such an underrated talent

Apprentice noob my behind, I'm from Europe and speak near-fluent German (not natively though).

But here's one for ya:

(Apparently it's a Swedish name too).

So you can stay stubborn about it, or at least admit that it sounds quite between Sewer and Sir.
Just because you 'Muricans 'Muricanise everything, doesn't mean it's correct.
I mean, take the last name of 'The Dude', Lebowski, which is a Polish name.
Americans pronounce it "Luh-bow-skee", yet the proper Polish pronounciation is "Lèh-bohv-skee" ("boh" as in "boring").

But whatevs, you're cool and I know jack shit, because of my join date here.

A great player and a real treat to see live if you ever get the chance!

OK... I've heard the guy's name and the band's name but I've never bothered to listen to them. I've now watched the whole 45 min video (and a few other videos with him) and then went to iTunes to buy a few songs.
