Ozzy died…

That Ozzfest tour? Man what a great lineup.
That was in the fall of ‘99; Drain STH & Godsmack were openers for that show.

I did get to see Sabbath again at Ozzfest ‘01. Then I caught Ozzy with Zakk, Borden & Rob at Ozzfest ‘02. I could have the two years of those mixed up, that’s been a while, and those long shows in the summer heat were brutal.

Only cover my old boogie woogie hardcore band ever did. Was a huge huge influence on me from the very earliest of my playing days. This is not a note for note rendition; but HUGE love intended.

Killer man..

I generally liked Jake's stuff more than Zakk, but some tracks like this one sound like both Ozzy and Zakk were having a lot of fun.

One of my fav Ozzy songs is off that record. Tattooed Dancer. It's got the perfect blend of Ozzy being Ozzy, Randy type riffs and that gnarly snarl and pinch harmonics Zakk has. I could listen to this song 10 times in a row and be pumped up the whole time.

When i left work today, I had Ozzy's Boneyard on and was tearing up hearing Jose Mangon, the D.J. trying to hold it together. He kept breaking down and callers had some great stories about Ozzy.

There are some musicians that ARE hard rock. They live it and are the core. Lemmy, EVH, Ozzy, Angus, etc. Rock royalty.
