Pearcy quits Ratt.... wtf again?

We'll see how he feels about this "the morning after".. he'll be back for the $ at some point when his meth bills get too high..

News flash, the guy is a burn out who lost his voice 20 yrs ago.. does he think anyone will buy his music? He's always had a horrible tone, it just happened to work in Ratt. I think the rest of the band should get a singer in his mid 20's and hit the road with a guy that can deliver a proper vocal performance.

Steve lost his voice in 86', he's still looking for it.

He's a mess and just growls to the drums anyway.

Seriously though...he talks about "losing a real brother" in Robin, but he was really nasty concerning Robin when he was trying to get back with the band.

Good now they can hire a singer

Pearcy's not a great singer, for sure, but his voice is virtually inseparable from Ratt's sound. Same thing with Vince Neil. He's beyond bad, especially now, but his voice is what most people identify with Motley's sound. Remember John Corabi and that album he did with the Crue? That was easily the most musical effort they ever put out and Corabi sounded killer, but people didn't like the new Motley Crue without Vince's voice. That, and the fact that the musical climate at the time wasn't kind to the Motley Crue's of the world just caused that album to sink.

well they have talked about a new album for at least a couple of years now and it never seems to get off the ground so can't really blame him. they are such a dysfunctional band I can't believe they even got 1 album recorded. Maybe demartini could join red dragon cartel .... now that would be awesome

I agree to a degree at least, but may be the "controversy" is the fuel for making the iconic songs we all like?

Would be cool to see WDM with a real vocalist! May be someone like Sebitchian Bach...?! :D
this...

Yup!

Although the new Alice In Chains singer really sounds good, and very similar to Staley.

On the "how not to do it" front, the tiny Pilipino singer in Journey sounding like Steve Perry with an accent!

It's definitely a Lack of Communication.

You guys crack me up!

I guess he doesn't want to be Way Top Jimmy Jr. anymore...........or something.

I recently saw Tesla at the Casino. Jeff Keith's voice is GONE! But just like Ratt, I can't see any one else in his spot.

Most of these guys have lost their voices a long time go... difference being, some of them still sound "decent" in spots in the song.. Pearcy sounds horrible throughout. Vince Neil has def lost his voice but he can still hit the patented screeches and saves most of his voice for those spots by singing every 3rd or 4th word, "kicksta , kicksta,... ma haaa'! when git ha speed doin 0 3' ma haaaaa " you get the picture.

yawn

every time I ever saw Ratt even in their heyday Pearcy was always the weakest link!

I think Pearcy and Don Dokken should form a band and share vocals.....................................................................wow, how bad would that be with the state of their current voices?

Lotsa hate for SEP here...weird.

These guys just don't get along. They haven't for 20 years. It's that simple. SEP isn't alone in the blame game - as a matter of fact, Blotz seems to be the biggest issue, and takes everything to a public forum. I'd be tired of it too. It's unprofessional. Especially when you've been in the game as long as these guys have. He needs to stay the hell off of Twitter.

It is what it is. Hopefully for the best. I was looking forward to another RATT album, as I thought the last one was pretty good - the best thing they've done since Robbin exited.

Too bad. One of my favorite bands ever.

Ah fuck, I'm going to see them tonight. I was looking forward to it, seen them many times back in the day and they were great.
