I need a true stat and it seems the usa built peavey strat is a great option así the price point used only gets me a squire made who knows where. Any owners of the USA peavey starts?

I had a USA custom shop falcon with a kahler. Should have never let it go. The only weakness that guitar had was the pickups… and it was heavy as fuk….
A buddy used to have a Peavey "Cropper" tele style...It was a killer guitar, flame top...nice neck, played great. Most USA Peaveys have always played well to me.
This is the truth. I had a Peavey T40.I forst learned on that I no longer have (hurts!). I currently have a T-25 special guitar. Fun to play and built well. Heavy. Even if the wood is light, the hardware is heavy, even the knobs lol
my strat is a used MIM; I love it. when it comes to Fender, my fav are 60s spec Jags; just got one MIJ, Lake Placid Blue; my son liked it so much I got him one too (Candy Apple red)
I had an American Strat years ago and nothing felt quite like it since. Miss it dearly. That being said, my buddy has a 90s Mexi strat that has always been a lot of fun.
The Peaveys are awesome instruments as well but are their own engine. For the price, I would have thought you could find an older Mexican strat but an old USA peavey definitely rips.
