Just saw the first Price in Germany

3900€!!!!!!!!

That is insane

The distributor in Europe is fucking us over again. That's around US$ 4,450. Almost two grand more than in the USA. That cannot be explained with shipping costs and import duties. In addition, it's € 5,500 for the limited head shell.

Same in the UK:

2,749.00 GBP = 3,952.42 USD (standard one) Vs. Us price $2499
3,849.00 GBP = 5,533.96 USD (custom one) Vs. US price $3499

How on earth can the limited edition be more in pounds than the dollar figure in the states :)

Oh well - Marshall / Diezel / etc. seem to suffer from this going to the states too

Isn't it refreshing that we get a new Mesa with NO brit modes.

Here it is
Fuck the distributors, I love mesa, but I refuse to buy any mesa amp new.
Other US products don't have such a huge price bump over US prices here in Europe!!
So it's fucking possible

Right away I am reminded of the lady from the enterprise rent a car commercial when she says "sounds expensive".

should be a way to hook our E.U. forum brothers up right?

Thanks
That should be easy. They send the funds to a trusted member in the States. He buys the amps and goes through all the trouble of shipping overseas. I think $200 an amp plus shipping, which should be approximately another 200,which I am sure they would pay without a blink. $400 is not much considering how they are being raped for Mesa gear over there. I assume the US dealers are not allowed to sell out of Country per Mesa regulations?

That would be very cool of someone to do!

I wonder how that would work for the warranty? Also, voltage differences could be an issue. My guess is that you buy it for someone, then sell it transferring the warranty to the new owner. Read the warranty fine print.
