Pickup. Which side is north/south?

Normally it's easy to tell:

However, I have a set of DiMarzio D Activator-X, and both sides are rails, no indication which side is north or south.

Any thoughts/ideas on a sure way to tell? My guess is that looking at the bottom of the pickup so the writing is upright, the top is north and bottom south. Could south be the side with the wire connection as shown in the diagram, if so it's at the top?

They could make it more obvious, by marking one side with N or S. IMO

I always install pickups like this, so if you flip the pickup over, the text isn't upside down. If that makes sense?

Pretty sure y'all are on on the right path anyways with the text and install position of that wire guide clip thing.
