Can't say I have but Pigtronix seems to get overlooked though they have a seemingly really cool line of stuff. I thought about one of their loopers for practicing around the house....I'm just always cash strapped so other gear and gear maintenance takes priority, lol.

I have a Star Eater. I generally like Pigtronix stuff (the v1 Cosmosis reverb is on my board now).
The Star Eater is not a really inspiring pedal. It doesn’t excel at any particular fuzz tone, and while the extra bump/scoop thing is a cool idea, it just doesn’t pan out to be anything that adds a lot of utility IMO.
I keep it because they’re not worth a whole lot, and you never know when a not so great fuzz sound could be perfect on a recording.

Haven't tried the Star Eater, but I do have the old big box Pigtronix Disnortion and that's a great od/octavia/fuzz pedal for sure. They can be found for dirt cheap these days too
