I got to play a vh4 today wow what a nice head from the cleans to the dirty the amp rocks. But I am still a herby fan can't get past it it's my favorite amp, just like our friend jim ( yngzaklynch )with the elmo m90 thats the way I feel about the herby. I am thinking about moving the m90 and the new twin jet to get another herby, I know that sounds crazy but I like the herby that much.

Two herberts and no more Twin Jet? Herby must be an awesome amp. I've only played the VH4 and I loved it. One of the best I've ever played.

So how does the VHT compare with the Diezels?

The VHT CLX is a real fire breather it is one of the tightest amps that I have ever played. It's got more of the marshall high end bite and is really flexabile with the eq all types of sounds in it.

If I were you I'd move the Einstein & get a VH4.

VH4 & Herbert dual rig is ego crushing. My favorite rig out of all I'd tried. The VH4 seems to add some deep lows & some crunchy highs to the Herbert sound & that works freaking amazing.

i ran my Herbie & VH4 together last weekend live for the first time...hot friggin shit!!! words cannot express the goodness!!!

My thoughts exactly.....they are an awesome pair. Heavy as shit to haul around, but compliment each other well.

So when you do that - do you still switch channels or just run one sound all night? Or you switch them via Midi? Ahh right, they both got midi, so it's super easy to run!!!

I use to run a Herbie and VH4 live as well - at the same time. Was really sweet. I have switched to running an SLO and Wizard MC together live - more my style - but I could live very happily with my old rig.

What I thought - not so nice to step the pedals with socks.

However, if you can play the stage in white socks and they stay white, that's a good thing
