I'd like to propose a new rule be implemented here on Rig Talk.

NO COPYING AND/OR USING MEMBER POSTED PERSONAL PHOTOS IN THE FORUM.

Do it once - warning.
Twice - suspension.
Third time - The Hammer.

There's a number of new members here lately who might like to share some personal stuff.
I like sharing personal stuff.
Doing that shouldn't be the equivalent of loading a shotgun that's aimed at your head.

WHY NOT SIMPLY CLARIFY A RULE TO PUT A STOP TO IT?

Poll results hopefully will be definitive one way or the other.

No agenda here..........................................joke of the day.

And what would that agenda be?
That I'd like to be able to post some pictures?

No one wants to see pictures of Dummy B unless it's the mug shot that will be coming out soon.

What could go wrong...........

Funny, this is the first gear forum I've ever been on where it's allowed.
RT is the outlier that has proven why allowing it is what causes things to go wrong.

The no porn rule is super easy to enforce.
No copy and pasting someone's photo will be just as easy.

Mod's are the jury on any grey area calls.
Just like they are now.

?‍♂️

Change is good. Don't fear it.

@Donnie B In principle, I fully agree but controlling internet trolls (as YOU know) is like herding cats.

When the shit hits the fan, and it WILL, what a nightmare for the mods and the collateral damage left.

You ever been tapped on the forehead with the hammer?

You never, ever want to get tapped with one again.

Rule 1 about posting your real photo on the internet:

JUST DONT

It's just not how the planet works anymore for people not crazy-paranoid.

My daughter owns a business that deals exclusively with the public.
Networking is critical to her success.
This forum would represent less than 1/8th of 1% of additional exposure for anything I'd post here.
