Was looking at a few of these on reverb and noticed a seller in Japan who has a few includes no full guitar pictures and only the back of the headstock on their listings.

I just imagine him coming out of a heroin den after a three day bender, sweating profusely and muttering about tyler headstocks

You will not often find a James Tyler headstock in cracked or broken condition due to the excellent, tone boosting thickness of his designs so I knew this thread was bullshit until I entered it and saw the bag. Clearly someone sawed the headstock off cause you don't simply "break" a James Tyler headstock unless you have beef with the design itself. And when I say "beef" I mean a mean spirited hatred for a very robust and beautiful artisan headstock.

I think the whole proctology joke is likely based in the reality of him bending over customers with those so-cal prices. Just a guess.
