Proof the Earth is round

Another mod locked the thread so out of respect I won't unlock it.

If ever there was a time for it to be open for replies 'though, it's now IMHO. :dunno:
 
I kind of suck at apologies, but I am not one to hold a grudge and am happy to let bygones by bygones. Maybe we can all start by saying something nice about each other? :ROFLMAO: ...Anyways, hope everyone is getting tucked in and ready to kick ass this week. Err wait, I guess those that live on the underside of the pancake are already crackin' :unsure:

I'm relieved that at the end of the day this thread proved the Earth to be round and almost but not perfectly spherical object.

I think it's a circle, but not necessarily a ball. I don't care, and it doesn't matter to me, what you choose to believe cause it doesn't break my leg but apparently I have smashed a few femurs in here denying heliocentrism. :LOL:

So now you think everything revolves around the Earth rather than the Sun. That's a whole 'nother thread right there.

I def don't think it revolves around the sun. In scripture the sun isn't even created until after the plants. It wouldn't make sense then for it to suddenly start revolving around the sun. It's all there in black and white in Genesis chapter 1.

So I've worked hard, I believe, to listen and understand your point of view. To give you credit for your belief system and why you believe what you believe. It doesn't seem you want to return the favor to see my point of view. :dunno:

I don't need to go to space to see that the Earth and most objects in this universe - are round balls. There is nothing to be made up about it. It is just there in front of us all. There is no way all the governments (or insert word) (including Russia and China) have conspired together to trick 8 billion people. That includes the 700+ whatever people that have actually been in space. And the thousands of pictures, some home made, that show the curvature of all of these planets. During the last lunar eclipse you could see and almost feel the 'ball shaped' moon pass in front of the 'ball shaped' sun. You could see the light curve around it as it slowly passed by. Like an hour. It was pretty apparent to me anyway.

But I respect that your religion doesn't teach that and that Moses, or whomever, could see from one side of the Earth to the other. I definitely respect your belief that one should not always trust their senses and that facts need to be verified. :yes:
