Pulled the trigger on a Peters

I miss my Peters Hydra. I had the third one ever made. He did something to it to make it more forward sounding. Is this what turned into the aggression mod? James is a good dude.

Yep, 2ch 100w Hydra with aggression mod. I went EL34's, I have a shitload of tubes hanging around (kt 88's,kt77's, different el34's) if I don't like em, just swap out. . I have this thing about green, getting dark green tolex with a green power light. Nickel corners. Told him to surprize me on the piping. Whatever he thinks looks good.

Thank you sir. Yeah, the sub is really cool. It does not fuck with bass player. It is a different frequency. I feel it just rounds out the whole sound and adds depth. Lots of haters round here, I love mine. Plus it allows me to bring the mids and put my 4x12 up closer to my ears. I am really happy with my current amps, Just think a Peters would be the icing on the cake. That Meathead looks like one sick mother!

I have a splawn 4x12 with an X pattern of Man o Wars and govnors which I got when I had my Powerball about 4 years ago and I ahve used it quite a bit and I have a Krank Krankenstien cabinet as well that I got a sweet deal on I couldn't pass up, but I'm just not into these cabinets, I did have an oversized recto cab when I had the prototype Meathead at my jam spot with the band and it was a very close to perfect match for my material and playing style *ie shit* but I've been steering in the direction of the Mills stuff because Gary*thegame* has 2 and really loves them and has been the source of my want for these cabs, plus all the reading I've done about them, they seem like what I want, but I won't buy anything until the MEat has landed. But those subs, damnit just what the doctor ordered!!! hahaha
