Pulled the trigger on a Peters

I have not got along with any Eminence I have tried. The VHT fat bottom will be here tomorrow. Got a straight one used. Always wanted to try one. I realize they are Eminence but, everyone says they just slay with the vht heads. Who knows If I like it I will hang on to it. May consider selling the os Mesa for a Mills. That is really the last cab I care to try. Seems as though the V30 is the best speaker,to me, with the subs. The subs rarely come up used, I waited a year to get my first one. They are pretty pricey new. I need to make a vid of the sub vs no sub to show the massive difference.

Have you tried a Wolverine? If you really do want one, if you're certain a lower powered high gain amp is what you want, I can still make them. You just can't expect it to sound the same as a higher powered amp in some regards...and most people do. It's hard to explain what lower powered amps really sound like, and it seems most expect them to sound different, especially high gain ones.

What is the aggression mod? Is this something that was born from the Hydra #3 or 4 you made for me?
I think if I get another amp, it will be a Chimera, not that I did not like the Hydra.I really like your power sections. Somehow you walk the line of amp feel and ghost noting very finely. Your power filtering is perfect. Alot of builders have plenty of trouble balancing out the power filtering.

James wouldn't steer you wrong. He really does want happy people, not just happy customers. That sounds pretty sweet. I wonder what this aggression mod sounds like, but I'm reaching all aggression requirements with the Chimera.

James makes seriously quality amps with great materials and doesn't compromise anything. I couldn't be happier with my amps.

I don't have the pics on my work e-mail, so I can't do anything about that now. I'm not sure when his new site will be up, but he's building the first right now. It essentially looks like the pre-amp section of the 100w head. It's pretty sweet.
