I love the colour and love the Floyd on there too

Not Rupe.. but those are Rands (Rand Havener)... Vivian Campbell used one back in the Whitesnake days. He did limited production #'s back in the day, and I think Rupe has a few of them :rock: :doh: :cry:
I hear he is doing a limited run to the original specs

My other purple guitar - my 1986 Charvel Model 2
Rebuild and upgraded - original Floyd, EMG58, flip flop paint (goes from gold to the purple you see in this picture)
Seen next to my flametop Amber Lion and leant against my 20w Wolftone class A amp

Wayniac, Any idea what happened to this guitar. It used to be mine back in 1987. Seriously, I had that guitar when I was in high school. I am looking to find it again.

Boy this is an old thread.

I like floyds, but its still strange for me to see one on a LP. I do want to try one of those Acess LP's with a Floyd at some point though. Maybe I will come around.

Floyds still have their good and bad points. There is no way I would even attempt to setup a guitar with a floyd. And Tuning changes on the fly are out of the question. I don't use the Whammy bar that much, in fact I have locked down 2 of my 3 strats bridges.
