I wonder how many caught this joke?

FWIMBW, Tim Krueger sold an awful lot of gear Q3 2021 -> Q1 2022.
I've heard it lots of times by now.

I didn't Know what people were talking about years ago, then I either looked it up, or came across him by mistake in news or something.

I'm in the UK, so it went over my head for a few years.

That is a sweet setup!

I should actually explain my setup because I think it's kind of nifty and was planned quite carefully.

Main point, I mostly use the monitors and IRs.

Guitar goes to tuner, then a buffered isolated splitter, output A goes onto the main board, and B feeds the 2 noise gates which are 3CM'd to the loops of the amps.

At the end of the board, the signal gets split to a buffered isolated AB/Y, then into the mimiq.

Each output of the Mimiq feeds one amp.

Amps make sound. Loadboxes feed 2 channels of my interface.

The amps both have lineouts and feed the stereo ins of the Core.

The Core has the capability to setup a pseudo 2 stereo channel line mixer internally, and cut all dry signal.

On each side there's different delays (currently tap tempo'd at quarter and 8th intervals) and detune/micropitchshift.

100% wet, and then the stereo outs on the core feed 2 more interface channels.

IRs via Wall of Sound and Reverb is done in Reaper, but I may setup a way of doing the reverb physically at some point.

And I think I'll pop this in the original post.

Good God I just do not have the brain power to set this type of setup up! Pretty insane very very cool I'd love to hear some clips.

This was a demo I'd done of the Kali when I got it, same FX setup except the second amp isn't in there(no mimiq), and was only using delay.

The Mimiq makes Things pretty big

I really should do a whole setup vid sometime.

You must be confusing him with Freddie Krueger or someone else 'cause this only happened a few weeks ago. ;)

Ahh... gotcha mate.

Yeah, the other info's in the off-topic sub-forum, "I Saw the Strangest Thing", so there're probably quite a few peeps who aren't aware of it.

Cool setup man! Very inspiring atmosphere to create music and that is what it is all about. After years and years or wanting to build up my tube amp world with 4x12s, modded amps, etc, I've actually moved the other direction.

I have a 5150-III 6L6 50w that I love but getting a Boss Katana soon. I'm going lighter, easier, etc. I've been focusing more on my guitars and getting an assortment of different tools of the trade. That is what I liked about seeing your guitars. Looks like you cover all of the tone ground with those!

That’s a decent little collection I guess? Stick with it man, soon, once you quadruple what you have, will you enter the realm of the proper Rigtalk brotherhood. It requires having at least 17 high end guitars and at least 9 amps that must be considered, “exclusive.” But hey, it’s a start, and remember, everyone has to start somewhere. I myself only have a few guitars and an amp left so I am in very low standing amongst my brethren of tone and I am working very hard to reach the brotherhood once again, but my true end game is membership to the exclusive gorilla gang, the end all, be all of utter bad assery. They are a small collection of very tough and manly dudes. And in their possession, is a Larry. Yes, it’s true, the gang is in possession of a real Larry.

That kinda happened by accident ? but I was not disappointed one day when I looked at them on the rack and realised I had most bases covered.

I thought I was past pointy headstocks, but no. The ESP itch is scritching me, so that's gona be a next thing.

You'd be suprised how often I just plug straight into the GT1000 Core though. Such a powerful little thing.
