I think next to 311splawndude I gotta be the biggest 311 fan here and I just don’t hear it, maybe I’ll get a stem of SA and put him on there
I can’t sweep or play a lot of chords, I smashed my pinky into a nub when I was a kid so I’m pretty fucked, I gotta rely on catchy songs to get chicks instead of shredding or camp fire chords

guitarist who I can barely see across the unlit stage. Standard 12 bar blues stuff. He solos first and the dude is great!
Really killer slow phrasing that reminded me of Peter Green.
My turn, and being young and a jerk, I do my best Gary Moore on fire. Totally obnoxious. Song goes over well.
I bump into the guy a little later and start chatting only to realize he's only got the first and pinky fingers on his fretting hand.
UGH!!! Immediately felt like crap and start apologizing like mad for showing off like I did.
Dude just laughs (not the first time it'd happened to him I'd bet). He'd lost the middle two in a work accident and gave
up playing for years until he slowly started re-learning things. Left that night a VERY humbled man!

There’s that dude on YouTube ripping full guitar and keyboard productions and awesome Slayer takes on other artists with a birth defect left hand (his licking hand) and plays a right handed guitar upside down…and he rips. Work with what you got and find your strengths. You’re already playing riffs as interesting, if not more so than we’re hearing from so called professional rock bands.
