Have not had much time to long in for a while, but I had to make time to post this to your video!!!

Thanks, neighbor!

One of these days we need to hook up and discuss guitars,tones,music,etc....Just right down the road.....

Fantastic tone and playing Jason

Wished I lived closer to you so you can show me the ways of shotgun right wrist!

sounds awesome man, big fan of your playing, wish I could get my rhythm and right hand like that!

btw, that drum track was from a HCAF drum jam was it not? Your composition definitely kicked my ass' attempt at it

I'll say it again, Jason is a bad ass! Glad you guys like what you've heard. In the future I'll have more than just metal studio stuff so you can get a better idea of the true diversity of this amp.

FWIW, the Colossus demo amp is currently on its way to Chicago. I'll be up there from the 17th - 20th doing some business and hanging out for an informal gear fest on the 19th. If you're in the area and would like to play the beast, let me know and we'll make it happen!

Like I've said before, your video's are awesome!! Tone is great and your playing is inspiring!! I just wish I could play it, you make it look effortless

You done really well there man.

Is the rhythm guitar double-tracked? Or just one rhythm track and one lead solo track?

How does the amp sound with effects? On all the channels?

That sounds pretty fuckin mean. Would love to hear it in person.

I don't need any GAS. You are not helping Jason. :gethim:  :D

I tried so hard to just stick my fingers in my ears and walk away..............no such luck.

Sorry, man! GAS is a mf'er for sure!

Hopefully we'll be able to hook up later this year when I get to NY. Would love to hang, slam some brews, and jam!

Yessir! Drums by Killzone and edited down by me. I cut a few parts and made the track a bit heavier. Since it was an amp demo, I wanted to make it slam right out of the gate. Thanks for the kind words!

Yes, the diversity of the amp is huge. Lots of sounds in there, I just did the heavy demo. This amp has a killer clean tone. Wanted to do a clean and mid gain clip but am super busy with SXSW and the amp had to get to Chicago for the amp fest up there so time was limited.

Thank you, sir. The rhythms are double tracked and the solo is single with a tad bit of sauce.

Man that sounds awesome!
So many great amps out there....
You just demoing the amp or plan on picking one up?
Great stuff!!

Sounds awesome! The video format kinda reminds me of some guy who does amp tests... forgot his name though. :D

Anyway it sounds awesome!

Kyle, is there any place in Lafayette where one can demo these? My band is playing a show there on April 30th...

It's a small world. It looks like I'm actually running sound for you on the 30th! I do all the LafayetteMetal.com Hard 'N Heavy shows with my PA system from hell as a bit of a hobby.

I could bring an amp to the show for you to play. If you get there early, say 7/8:00, you could jam on it at length before anyone shows up. If it's your thing you could play it for the show.

Thanks Ola! We'll get an amp out to you sometime, I hope soon. Still need to figure out how to afford the shipping. :)

REEEAAALLLLLY?

Hells yeah, I'll be there early then!

thanks man!

I've heard Buddy's amp and the ones on YT for the Chemcoma guys. Our style is a bit different from either of those bands, but I'm anxious to hear these amps in person.

WOW! That was kick ass! Great job! Being a Blackmore owner also, how does that compare to your Rhodes?

I don't own a Colossus, just did the demo for Kyle. I think this is the only Colossus in existence but he already has orders for some and is going to be building more soon. It is a lot more defined than the Blackmore. It is just more "together" sounding if that makes any sense. Also, the clean channel on the Colossus destroys the Blackmore clean.
