Is he out of a job? His career is tourism...recent news stories show a large number of Europeans want the tourists out...and stay out.
I couldn’t bear to see him attacked with spoiled tomatoes and rotten eggs.
He's still on the air but hasn't addressed these recent news reports.
 
When everyone turns their place into Air BnB rentals the price on local housing goes through the roof. Hopefully Rick won't be shot by a spanish local armed with a squirt gun.
 
I don't blame them. Every time I go anywhere it's wall to wall people. Both times I was in Europe you couldn't swing a Kalashnikov without hitting some Asian lady with a camera. Went out west to fly fish in Idaho a few years back. Hit all the plains Indian sights on the way. Again, wall to wall mother fuckers. Way too many god damn people on this rock man.
 
In the 80's and 90's whilst Rick Steves was making his groundbreaking and accessable introductions to travel, I watched along in wonderment. I felt as though he would be the best guide in the know. I can only surmise that he was.
 
I like watching his travel shows... but I'm 99.999% sure he is a raging liberal socialist homo.

His show is produced by Oregon Public TV. Nuff said.

Having your specials featured on PBS says it all, you don’t get your own programs there wearing a MAGA hat.
