Riff/Lick/Chords you always play when you hit the amp on

I don't play the same thing always but 70% of the time is an open A chord followed by a few licks in A major/minor pentatonic.

I normally play in Drop D/C#. I hit a big open D to make sure everything is good and then I play "Lay it Down"

i know people who nearly always plays the same pentatonic lick when flicking the amp on, i'm almost tempted to learn it and play it each time to see how they react, might be a good experiment

maybe they'll be more likely to compliment me on my tone lol

Jailbreak, Funk #49, Tie your Mother Down, and Stranglehold for more classic tones.
Good Times, Over the Hills and Far Away, Simple Man, and Fade to Black for cleans.

When I lean down to switch off the standby, I start a hammer on/pull off thrill on the G string (open and 2nd fret... This continues while I find the appropriate master volume. Once this is accomplished, I strum an open A, open D and open E to check the tuning.

I then decide decide that the tone I am getting is no where near satisfactory, and go on Rig Talk in search of a boutique amp that I can't afford. Ah... It's lovely to have such a big support group on hand

I agree but kick my amp and have it fall on the floor yell at my bandmates like yngwie then come up and sell the amp on the floor on rig talk and by another,,,,repeat ,,,,repeat...........you get the idea..
Oh yeah and always put mint condition amp..Had some mods
