I'm in a similar boat. Did the band thing until it became more of a headache than it was worth. Now I play for myself because that's what I like.

I take in other aspects too. Did hobby building guitars for many years. I'll still build one every now and again, but I've slowed down on that. My current ambition is building amps and cabs.

If you ever start a guitar/amp/cab company let me know MAAH ill do some youtube and clip shilling for you
