I usually struggle with the choice of what to listen to when I go to sleep. Won't be hard to decide tonight. RIP RJD :(

incredible - I saw him live, may 17 1990

almost exactly 20 years ago

Whoah... Ronnie's passing made me wonder what an old manager and friend (PJ Birosik) who had worked with Wendy and Ronnie was up to. Turns out her and her husband commited suicide in 2006 in a very bizarre set of circumstances. Not sure why I'm putting this here other than I'm absolutely blown away right now.

R.I.P Ronnie James Dio

One of my fav's
Man, that's really sad. Ronnie James Dio has always been one of my favorite singers
discovered when he played in Rainbow.
Today is a sad day.

We cover a lot of Dio songs in our band and Don't talk to Strangers is a favorite of mine.

I'm extremely bummed by Ronnies' passing. Obviously an incredible singer, but also a stand up type of guy. Thanks for the music and the memories...

RIP RJD
