Rivera rock crusher maybe messed up

So I notcied while using my rock crush into a 76 super lead it sounded kind of strange.
I will try to explain the issue.

When I attack the strings hard the amp almost sounds like it has a quick volume loss.
If you hold the cord the tone will sound ok when I am not attacking the strings hard.

I thought it was my amp but I tried it on another amp and it did the same exact thing.

I am not sure if this is normal or if the Rock crusher has issues.

Has anyone else experienced any type of issues with there rock crusher?

Just brought the rock crusher to guitar center and tried it on two heads and it had no issues.

Very strange

Maybe it's my house power
