Maybe they have the Shiva clean mod. I could see him playing though that, nice clean sparkly, fits with a good driven sound on ch 2

That is possible, but I'm going to have to see him playing them to believe it. He's been endorsed by H&K for a very long time and for his style of playing and song writing the H&K works well.

Yeah I agree, dont know why he would change from the H&K. I could see if he had a song that required the sound of the Uber and having one on stage. I do think the Bogner is a lot more bassy then the H&Ks and his tone is more treble mid based. But with all his effects and a PRS guitar maybe. Guess we shall see (or hear).

He doesn't really use PRS these days...mostly Gibsons. To me the Uber with KT88s would be way too metal for him. He should at least get the EL34 version for the thicker, britich style mids. He needs that singing midrange.

His sound has gotten much, much bassier over the years though. I saw on both of the last tours and was pretty close. He had mega bass going on! In fact, Vapor Trails &K and there is huge bass on the guitars.

Interesting. This reminds me of Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac. In the beginning his tone was a little bit thin, then got nice and sustain-y, but over the last decade or more he's a fair bit of that Recto Thump in his sound. I was knocked on my arse when I heard him slam a powerchord in the intro of The Chain during last year's gig!

If you watch "The Dance" DVD they have out, Lindsey has 1 or more Tremoverbs on stage in his back line.
