Dude it’s pretty darn awesome actually. I don’t know what kept it from being more of a household amp. A TON of tones in there. Sounded awesome in person. I was pleasantly surprised.Jeff Hilligan":hu2jqb2l said:Jer...what did you think of the Armageddon?
Yeah Jason I hear you. I get into a bit of a hoarding thing with gear at times where I just have a tone of stuff and it gets zero playtime. I THINK I may just have a problem of too much Marshall. Between the Splawn, the Henning and the Friedman I can get a lot of the similar tone. The Splawn is the easiest to see myself without right now.JConstantineLV":hu2jqb2l said:Jer for a guy like you who plays various styles in different types of bands its hard to go with "1 amp to rule them all". Makes sense you feel that way. For me i am a 2 amp guy. Something super modern, and something vintage, and that usually covers all the bases for me. Although ... the new 5153 EL34 50w has me intrigued ....LOL

I have my Sig: X, Dirty Shirley 40, Bottle Rocket and Quick Rod.
Quick Rod is spoken for and I have been looking at some Revv and KSR stuff. Was just talking to someone here and he says his amp quest is over! I wanna feel that way! LOL!
I get stressed out thinking of only having one amp. Anyone else here running solo and loving it?
Been KIND of thinking whittling down but can not commit.

Granted, I haven't really been playing for a year+ so I haven't cared about any amps but I've been content with my Deliverance rig for many years now. That doesn't mean there haven't been amps I like and would enjoy having, but they're few and far between and I'm satisfied with what I've got to the point that there's not even the thought of buying another.

Yep, I love it. A single channel but there's so much versatility and it's tonality is very unique in my opinion. I use it with the Deliverance 4x12 (P50E) and Deliverance 2x12 (Fanes) and it's everything I need.
