Saw Hagar w/Satriani the other night...

First of all, the show was amazing; Hagar's voice sounded great, Mike was just flawless and the rest of the band were fantastic too. They looked like they were having such a great time!

What I really noticed was how well Joe's 3rd Power amps did what they were apparently designed for - capturing a version of Eddie's LWAN tone. Didn't really hear it in demos beforehand, but live it really did shine and invoke that sound. Joe seems to have really settled into the role too and he knew when to do his best Eddie impression and when to do his own thing.

Massively impressed, if you get a chance definitely go!

I’m watching them live on YouTube ,Abd ya his live tone is very good . Big and thick and clear . More compressed than Eddie’s LWOAN tone . This is great

You can tell he just loves it, think he got the biggest cheer of the band introductions too!

I saw them in May of 2024 - with Jason Bonham on drums - they seemed to be having fun. Was a great show and Sammy still brings a ton of energy for a 70-something year old guy.
Mikey nails those high notes still and looks to be having fun.
Satch does justice to the part.
