School me on boosts

I went on an OD bender over the past 5 years or so and after trying lots of boutique, modded, and expensive pedals, I am down to a Koko v1 that works great with everything, a SD1 for Marshall's, and a TS9 for 5150 and Rectifier types.

Agreed, the V1 Koko still kicks ass. All I need.

My Keeley D&M pedal smokes with both a boost and drive that can he used together, different order, etc. Sounds better than my Tube Screamer and not as harsh.

Not ubiquitous or cheap but the Wizard Panther works with a range of amps. It shocked me. Clip or boost and an impressively useful tone sweep. Gets broootal if you want it

Was very curious about his pedal line !

Do you mean the Wizard Leopard? I don’t know of any Wizard Panther pedal lol

Get a SD-1 and a TS and find out which one you like more and go from there

Yep, the vast majority of boosts out there are minor tweaks on these two, which only have minor differences between them. I've gone through a pile of boosts over the years, and the humble ole' SD-1 is what still sets on the board. (The TS would be what I'd use for more of a smoother boost. The SD-1 is a bit nastier....just a bit.)
