Scumback speakers for rock/metal??

I recently put a J75 in an open-back 1x12 recently to replace a Vintage 30. I was looking at an M75 for this cabinet but Jim suggested the J75 and I'm glad I went with his advice. I love it even more every time I play it. It really made this cab sound much larger.

I have searched a bit, but whats the general concensus of scumbacks for heavy rock/metal? Ive got a spare cab im gonna use in a stereo, or wet/dry rig. Right now its got 75's and one of them are blown. Would like to get a pair to mix with them...

Dont even bother with scumbacks man, he is such a douche. Get yourself some Splawn smallblocks and you can thank me later! Best metal sounding speaker I have ever played through!

I've got a Marshall loaded with an X of H and M 75's, all LDC (per Jim's recommendation) and that cab kills. A little on the dark side, but very warm with plenty of low end and a nice grit.

I think that guy was posting in every thread on the day he joined to get to 50 ASAP posts to be able to post in the classifieds . I mean he joined April 6th got to 50 posted on April 6th then right to the classified . Just a hunch

I've been rocking the BM75-65's you made for me from my old 70's black back 25's last week. I'm really digging the BM75 and well as my J75's. They fit me better than the M75 or H75's.
