Show your favorite bass you own

This is my main recording/gigging bass. Rosewood neck, walnut body w/DJ nitro finish, Gotoh hardware, DiMarzio pups. The neck wood came from Ken Warmoth's personal stash, about a year before he passed. He had his neck guy pattern it after a real '64 JB neck. Ken also came up with the JPJ configuration. Stacked vol/tone pot and a pair of 3-ways for any pup combo. I have it strung B-E-A-D.

That’s an awesome build.

Gotta say you’re pretty talented.

Love it.

Thanks friend! It's neck-through, walnut, maple, canary wood, and is loaded with SD Bass Blackouts and has a pre-amp with 3 band EQ.

I'll have to try to remember to get a couple of decent pictures of it.

Cool looking bass, great story behind it.

That’s a great pickup configuration you got on it too.

Love the and the fact that you can see the grain underneath.

Good looking bass.
Thanks man! A luthier friend some years ago, modified this Ibanez Bass with Bartolini P&J pickups, Schaller 3D Bridge and Tuners, Emerson pots

PureTone jack, Active electronics and a fret level, plays and sounds really nice.
