There's alot of cool dudes over at HC. It's just a faster paced forum than anywhere else. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat addicted to the stupid place, but it's a place that is basically just more entertaining than informing. If I want good and honest answers about gear I'll ask it here

I dunno there are plenty of knowledgeable guys over there, but there are 5 idiots who think they know what they're talking about to each knowledgeable guy (and about 5 more people that just post A2M/Gape and nothing but emoticons every other post).

Over there for real knowledge you do have to kind of wade through the crap.

I like HC. Fast pace, You can get advice about health issues ... don't need my doctor anymore, Those guys can talk you out of suicide, I've threatened suicide over 100 times and they always come around for me and talk me out of it. And what about some good Amp advice. There is not a single person on the Amp forum that is not a major amp builder. They all know amps inside out over there. And Rig-Talk needs an EVH photoshop sticky

I've been posting on HCAF for a while now. It's changed a lot since 2001,...it is what it is -- most OT threads, lots of idiots and a few cool dudes. It's fun for the most part but I post less and less.

When I first found HC it was all gear all the time. I never knew about all the cool gear I needed to buy. Now with the exception of a few people HC is full of 10 -12 year olds. Sure HC is fast paced but when you skip all the garbage there are fewer gear related posts than just about anywhere else.
