So has Mesa gone the way of Marshall.

I still have a TriAxis, though it has the unpopular phat mod.

I made sure to get the OG V1, since I wanted the OG Mark sound.

Would definitely love to see them bring the TriAxis back. Another improvement would be an industrial grade front panel (more longevity).

The IIC+ and Recto RIs are the best amps Mesa’s released since the Mark IV imo, so I have high hopes and expectations for thems until they prove otherwise.
I much prefer a C+ to a Mark III, but if they released a III that was as good as the latest RIs I’d likely bite,

I'm happy with what they've been doing.

I agree with @DanTravis62 in that this is the first time I've even looked at Mesa in the past 20 years or more. And I don't think the Reissue Dual Rectifier just sounds as good as the originals, I think it sounds better. Mesa/Gibson made some real improvements to the circuit. So much so, that I bought one.
Agree 100%. I prefer the Dual RI to the F, D, and C Rectos that I’ve owned. It’s tighter, richer, and soooooo much more juicy in the mids. I literally lol while playing it at just how killer it is.
I was a very vocal “no RI will ever compare to the OG” snob, and they proved me tf wrong.
That goes for the C+ as well.
That’s two plates of crow that I happily devoured….
