Ya I mean there’s so many amps that to pay $8,000 or more when you have modern amps for less that as good or better . It’s all opinion I know but . It’s crazy . I’d pay $4000 for one though . But not these prices these days . Plus I’ve heard copies I think are better

I cant imagine buying a pcb modded amp with shit gooped circuits for that kind of money. I feel like most of the guys that like them are looking for 80's rock sound.

If you are getting one for metal, i think the stuff that has come out in the last 4-5 years would destroy it.

I have not been in “business” with Mark as of March of last year. I also let my customers and anyone who sent an amp through me know this. All customers except one have gotten their amps back. First off, Cameron Amplification wasn't just Mark sitting in a basement. It was an entire project/initiative involving multiple people with different responsibilities. Holding every single member accountable or calling them all thieves because of one party's incompetence and logistics failure of certain individuals is just ignorant. Managing a boutique amp company at that scale with high demand isn't as simple as you think it is from behind a keyboard.

Second, with all the respect but calling them "shit gooped circuits", sounds to me like you’ve never actually modified any amp ever yourself, neither you looked inside one of Cameron's or heard one in person. I also don't think there's any point in comparing a full-blown butique tube amp to a digital modeler.

I don't get it. The guy moved heaven and earth so the community could get what it wanted, something went wrong along the way, he paid for it with his health, and now he's taking full responsibility—even for mistakes that weren't his. He's doing everything he can, and you guys are still shitting all over him.

Heard this story before. To be fair, we were all telling him when he first mentioned going into business with the dipshit that it wouldn't end well and just like all the people before him that tried the same thing...it didn't end well.

Look I'm not here to rehash the past or lay blame on anyone. I just want it to be clear that this person claiming I'm taking money and not delivering amps has my contact info and even sent me a message through Reverb less than a month ago that I promptly replied to and told him I would get his amp shipped back to him. I can even post screenshots of this interaction. I believe he was initially upset that Mark was not prompt in his replies but that's what I am here for, if you sent an amp through me I would make sure you were up to date with what was going on and communicate a timeframe. He kept threatening to post about this online and I told him just talk to me I can't read your mind, your amp/s are safe I'll get them back to you but you have to communicate with me. That's all.
