Yeah I have lots of guys sending me PM's on this about the status....price...etc...
Thats why I wanna post pretty much all the info I get on here in case others want to join the bad ass wagon. :D

Mike B says he wants to get the amps done and out.....so he can work on the next one.
That turn around time is insanely fast.
Mike is lightning fast.

I think it is great you are posting all the details.

Man that would be cool. Isn't it sorta out in farm territory ?
Thought I heard that once.
No not really at all. They are in Petaluma which is north Bay Area. They are pretty close to the ocean.

Price seems really reasonable to me Price is great, actually.. I'd love to have one! Always wanted a Mark III. I wonder if the stripe effects the end result of the mod, or if they all come out basically the same in the end?

Mike told me the stripe color don't matter.
But having simulclass and a graphic EQ makes a difference. But said the mod can still be done to those not having it.

Did you see the TC Electronic Mimiq Doubler ? I want to check one out.

Simulation of double and triple track recordings. The demo clips should pretty good.

Just got an email from Mesa saying my return is now logged in the system.
So that's another step closer. :D

You'll get a call from Gary more thank likely for payment before it ships back. Then it's 1-2 days depending on their shipping guy. Mike cashes your check quickly as well

I LOVE the voicing of the IIIs. I can dial the IV to sound close but the III seems a bit meaner. I think I asked Mike B about Mark IV mods long ago but I forgot what he said. Wish I could make the IV sound a little BIGGER but while retaining the clarity and tightness that it has.

Right.  You know me though buddy..I need the versatility and I like the layout of the clean channel and the loop on the IV. Maybe someday I'll grab a III for the sole purpose of ripping faces off.

We must have had amps arrive around the same time. My Rev C is on its way back from Mesa right now as well...

DIBBS!!!

I'm happy for you Bud, this might be the keeper?
Really interested to know the diff the mod makes, I know someone already called dibbs. I just do that everytime you get a new amp, this was the 14,12578th time

Well so far nothing has knocked the FJA recto off the throne
Got a good feeling bout this one

Not long, probably a few days tops. I wasn't having anything modded, though. Mine was just a regular service/maintenance trip, probably spent less than an hour on Mike's bench.
