And there’s a hundred videos showing the opposite as well. I say study it and make your mind up. Just to be fair….

Most non believers equate them together also. They don’t know there’s a difference between the Old Testament and New Testament. To them they are the same. That’s why when they do their little tik tok atheist videos they really make themselves look bad. Like this one…btw Pastor Vody is the man…

Yes good stuff.

I personally think on reading the New Testament more broadly than picking and choosing specific verses it makes it pretty clear that it'd be wrong. I know some liberal Christians seem to try and justify it but basically I think in total context they must be reading from different Bibles to me. Yes we should study it and make our own minds up but I'd say don't just listen to what you want to hear from certain individuals. Go to the source and study the Bible and get a feel for what God wants and how he wants us to live and then make a decision.

Yes, picking and choosing thru Bible verses is equal to drastic editing. In its entirety, the Bible is a long read but the only way to tie it together as it should be.

That's what I think as well. Which makes me go down the rabbit hole of the modern family unit. It seems "procreation" and "raising a child" are not as congruent as they once were, which raises the question, "what is more important in God's eyes?", the actual procreation or the family unit/raising the child, or maybe it's "all or nothing".
I think that from a Christian's perspective, instilling the belief and following of 'god' is a higher priority. So therefore, even while a gay couple or single parent, etc., can raise a healthy and happy child, it doesn't matter if the child isn't a believer. So yes, making children, but also raising them to be believers is key, which kind of makes the other goals, when looked at in a vaccuum, moot. From a christian standpoint, as I understand — God wants his creation to make more kids for Him, which is impossible if the children don't believe in him.

Stumbled upon this clip the other day brudda.

He nailed it.

I see the bishops are bucking on him. Especially the African ones…

There is going to be a lot of pushback. What difference it makes remains to be seen. Bergoglio was already trying to shut down diocese that stick to the pre-Vatican II mass. He is anti-tradition, through and through. An evil man.

Same thing already happened with the Episcopal church. The African churches weren't having any of it and broke away when they went full homo.
