Here is another jam. This time with Berklee's excellent backing. (I actually attended Berklee for a semester... But I am pretty sure you can't tell   )

Damn... that's tasty, sir. I love the restraint used in the first half. And stunning tone!

Thank you kindly.

It's the POD XT Live that sits under my desk. "Cali Crunch" model with the "Screamer" stomp. Rolled off the highs, and then rolled them off again in Logic, and added compression and Tape Delay. I also boosted the mids quite a bit.
For what it is, I am happy with the tones I can get with it. It's always right there, and easy to use. And you can't beat being able to rock out even though you got a baby sleeping 5 meters away :D

I really dig the sound if those drums. I will definitely order the programme in the near future!
I currently use Superior Drummer, which is cool, but I like what you got going on a lot more.

So where us the rest of your stuff? :D

Kind of all over the place... literally. I've finally set up a soundcloud account so I can put a few relevant things up here as I re-discover them. :)

Here's a demo of my love of instrumentals, and my relative lack of technique. :)

Another jam-along track:

Lately, my recordings have started to take on a dancy-soul vibe... case in point, another demo sans melody:

How's that for a start? :)

Very nice groove and really like the drums. You mentioned Tracktion. Are you talking about Mackie Tracktion 3? I'm using that program.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been on it since 1.5 (along with Sony Acid). I really need to get my head into ProTools at some point, but I can't warrant buying an M-Audio soundcard for it when I've got a perfectly working TonePort UX2 sitting here...

Good stuff!!

Will give that a listen when I get home tonight. Thanks.

Hey guys, not to criticize but shouldn't the backing tracks each have their own thread. For instance, the title of this thread contains "January Backing." That whey we can keep em separated. That...just a thought. :D
