I love the neck.on the solar, but i havent really come accross many necks i didnt like. Maybe a cort had a bad neck. Maybe it was just how bad the finish was

I couldn't get past how he lost his style when he first started out. This crap sounds like a poor excuse to rip off Dimebag Darrell RIP...as you were you dogs!!

I actually like that logo, lol. I would prefer to never have anything on fretboard period, though. But I have kind of grown fond of my sharkfins
Those two Showmasters’s I got have no fretboard markers…. At first I thought it would mess me up a little but I kinda like it oddly enough….

Nice guitar. Wonder why @Ola Englund doesn't go with the Gotoh 1996 more often? See it on some of the Solar models. Can understand using an FR on signature models if that's an artist decision, but almost seems crazy to not use it for regular production given it's $:Quality, imo. Assuming it's just an easier marketing name 🤷‍♀️ That said, there are a few Solars I wouldn't mind having.

Anyone have a Solar guitar? Thoughts?

many shapes remind me of Jackson, but with more options, better hardware, pickups, in some models...

I had an origional limited guitar when they came out. It was an amazing guitar. It was like an improved ibanez imo. Though the neck is bigger. The guitar played like a dream and hit way above it's weightclass. I only moved on because I felt like the evertune was a little bit of a pain in the ass to change tunings with. Especially extreme tunings.

I've had a few Solars. They're as good as anything else out there. Felt like something between an LTD and a Jackson. I had a couple of Vs, including the baritone version, which was a bit neck heavy. I also had the lime green poplar burl with a Hipshot bridge. That thing was REALLY nice! Friend of mine has a purple burl with Evertune. I do not like the Evertune at all, but aside from that it's a good guitar. I like the pickups a lot, too.

I keep considering the headless as a travel guitar, buuuuut I don't know that I can bring myself to buy a headless.
