SICK!!!!!
The amp does a nice job of bringing out all notes in a chord...especially with the complex minor sharp 7th chords Page does.

BTW, Page was the reason i bought my Ultralead & Fatbottom cab.

get Page Hamilton to stop by the shop and test it. HE can play the heavy, and knows the Fryette tone.

Oh damn! Dooooooo it!!!

I vote for Page

Ask and you shall receive!

Page was the perfect choice, nice work. He does heavy but also throws in the huge, wide voiced, complex chords.

Sounds great. Really glad I got in at $399 now. Killer clarity with those chords as well, which I've never heard in a small amp. Can't wait now.

Hell to the yeah!!! I could hear all those notes. Page is funny and a good sport!

Aaron Turner next please!

Pledged at $399, finger crossed that you get enough people to pledge at $499. Even at $599 retail it's still a good deal.

I hope they pick a better name than Baron amps did with their Snott Watt.

We think we did - it is called the Valvulator GP/DI.

Valvulator because we used a lot of the tech from the GP3 and V1 in it.

GP because it is a guitar pre.

DI because it is a DI.

Ok, maybe not the cleverest name, but it is very descriptive!

Looks like a cool piece of kit Steve is putting out there.

Thanks! We are blown away by the way it sounds - we put up a new demo this morning, showcasing the direct out:

That's one of the best direct tones I've heard. Great job!!

I'm in! I'm looking forward to playing that little wonder box....

I've started adding some explanations of how to use the GP/DI under different circumstances, such as at home or with a modeler:

Also, we'd been struggling to come up with a way to show just how much better it feels to play through the GP/DI than the modelers - including plugins and the Kemper, Axe, and Pod - and I think I finally came up with a way:

So does this little amp require a load to be used on the "tube amp out" jack, or can you just use either line out with no cab hooked up?

From what I understand, you can use any or all of the outputs anytime.

That would be pretty sweet. :)

I'd like to confirm this - yes, any and/or all the outputs can be used simultaneously.

Also, another sound demo - the riffing may be a bit "uninspired", but people kept bugging us to provide a high-gain clip, so here it is:
