I wish the clean did not break up so quick but if you set the gain real low its not a deal breaker. The blue channel is worth the price of admission alone. My only gripe is the clean channel not being fantastically clean but I did not buy this for the clean sound anyway.
+1000!
That's what the BF Fenders are for (a '65 BF SR and a '67 BR ProReverb are my keepers)

This thing is so good that Im sure it's going to land in some amalgamation on the mass produced line eventually. Maybe with tweaks and a different name but I doubt the world only gets 300 of these or whatever number it is they produced.
again agreed!
it's interesting my first 100S is serial numbered 144XX, and my second 100S is serial numbered 147XX - around 300 after the 1st 100S.
AND the date on the head is 12/21/13 whereas the first one is November 2013. it appears that there were heads made through the end of 2013.
if the serial numbers are indicative of the number heads manufactured, the 100S definitely is in the > 300 range rather than the "100 limited run" as noted by EVH Gear marketing.
That Channel 2 Blue is soooo good - it's gotta be in the works for mass production (as well as the ext. bias points and the resonance controls on back)
