Ok, the Stealth is not that bad, but, I prefer the original. Again I find the Stealth way too gainy, and by a lot. It is more aggressive, brighter, noisier and squeals quite easily at higher volumes. Channel two can't sound like the original, it thins out if you lower the gain too much, even when playing with the resonance knob. It sounds great for higher gain though but for me it's too much. It's quite brighter too overall.

I put an EQ in my original one and came close to the Stealths aggressiveness and brightness. So in the end, it ain't worth the extra cash. I'm keeping my original and getting a BE.

Chris

The one I have doesnt squeal, its a controllable amp. I think whats going on is you have some not so great preamp tubes. There are so many preamp tubes in these amps its easy to get a bunch of poor ones. I agree this amp is brighter and a bit more aggressive you have that right, but my Stealth is all that in a good way.

This could all just be preference , except for the squealing, if the amp seems uncontrollable than something isnt right..... Also worth mentioning that the Sovtek 6L6Wxt+ tubes are very warm and smooth sounding which balance nicely with the Stealth.

You might not want to bother spending time and money on different tubes which I understand...You may still prefer the original even if you did. I just wanted to post my thoughts.

Thanks for your insight man, on the red there's a huge shhhhhhhh going on, maybe you right, bad preamp tubes. But in the end, I just love tha blue on the original one a lot, I like having to work hard to coax maximum gain out of it. So it will work out better for me.

Between all my amps, I'm set for modern high gain, I need a Marshall flavoured amp, BE-100 or Cantrell sig, I just need to hear comments and clips of that thing.

Chris

The Cantrell sig looks like it could be awesome... I had a Naked a while back which I liked.
