I have a Marshall 1960BHW Cab that i feel is a Little Dark Compared to what i'm used to. The Cab currently has the original G12H30's....What speaker would be a good choice to mix with them to make the cab a tad brighter?

I have the standard 1960 cab with 75s, I crossed those with V30s and I love it. I'm not sure how different the H vs V is, but something to consider.

V30s will work with those speakers, but your cab will remain a 120 watt handling capability.
The efficiency rating is adequately close enough too.
I never liked mixing V30s with T75 because the V30s always sounded louder. This combination works better when you aren't stuck standing close to your cab.

Thanks. I was thinking that i might have to go the V30 route.

I needed to brighten up and get rid of some mid honk in the Splawn cab in my avatar . I finally settled on Creambacks H75s on the bottom and T75s up top . I never thought I’d use the T75 speakers but it did the trick . It’s a bright cutting tone but I don’t find it harsh or piercing , YMMV

Agree on all points.

I do like the V30/T75 combination for a lot of things, but from a live standpoint the combination is much better at 20' than right behind you playing or facing you during practice.

I love G12h75 creamback and V30s in an X pattern. Perfect blend and has a nice brightness to it.
