Splawn Nitro Issue... Halp!!!

Just recently my Nitro is screeching like a banshee whenever I run an od pedal into it. Nothing has changed, same cables, guitars, same od pedal. I thought it might be the pedal, so I borrowed an 808 from a friend and got the same thing. SO, now I am guessing a bad tube? My question is, would this problem result from a bad power tube or more likely a pre-amp tube? I have 2 shows coming up in a week, so I am on a time crunch to figure it out, and all the shops here take forever because they are backed up, so I have to get it done on my own.

I'm thinking preamp tube as well. I've had one go microphonic...wasn't a pleasant sound. Your OD must be pushing one of the preamp tubes over the edge...one that was on it's way out anyway.

That's where I will start then. I have some JJ 12ax7's in a drawer I can try swapping around just to see if it does the trick, and then order something better if I find the problem.
