Not trying to be a dick but what makes these worth the extra $$$ over say a mojo tone?

i just like the looks of it, and money wise it was eaiser for me to buy it unloaded, & only have to pay 50% now, & then the rest when its finished. i dont mind waiting a month or so.

On paper those are the same construction as a Marshall cab sans the PCB back. That is assuming the Stone Age one uses a plywood back. It's prettier than a Marshall cab though. Looks cool.

Never heard of those, looks cool though. What speakers you going with?

Cool man, looks like a nice cab I was just wondering if there was something different with them besides being a quality vintage Marshall copy.

The guys has taste. ;)

I mean really, if a cab is well built isn't it all good? I mean, what would make Stone Age better than Avatar or Bogner or Orange?

Will be getting this next week!:

hhmm...fyi, I do many cloth tolex 'schemes'.....so, if someone with an Egnater amp prefers me to build a cab that matches said amp...I'm gonna build it for them. If someone with a red elephant Marshall amp prefers one of my cabs to match, I'm going to build that for them, as well. Neither Bruce or Frank has directly asked me to not use these colors & cloth....[then I will definitely consider not using these colors]...which I might add are readily available for anyone to use, as they have been around for the past 40 years or so.
This is a great forum, I have visited here many times, and actually know quite a few members from other forums. Not looking to get off on the wrong foot...but felt compelled to reply after this was brought to my attention by more than a few friends. Too bad my 1st post here had to be about something like the above comment...which, IMHO, should have been directed to me either in person/phone call or email.

Thank you,
John

edit:
BTW...the cab in ? [pictured 4x12 straight] is nearly 1 1/2 years old..

Actually, I was the first one to buy a cab from John with those colors. I did it over a year ago, and it was my iea. I wanted one of his cabs becdause they sound better than any cab I have ever heard. I made the decision that the Mod 50 was my favorite head, and the Stone Age 2 x 12 C was my favorite cab. I wanted the cab to match, and since colors are not proprietary...I ordered the cab. She's a beauty, equipped with Celestion Heritage 65's for the best tone on Earth.
