Strange issue….

Ordered two of these…. They are pv switches or sold as replacement pv switches. Little longer but I don’t care. It’s a fuckin Windsor not a 69 superlead. How would you guys install them? Solder them, screw them, or screw and solder them?

Need to do some checking bad have a terrible ground hum happening. Not sure if it’s there when I only run the Windsor…. I have this tick where if I have an amp and a cab…plus a way to do it- I’m running them all at the same time…. Cause fuck it that’s why…. My hum eliminator is not helping either. On its own the Windsor sounds like ass. As a pedal platform or as a power amp for a pre-it’s great….

It’s okay on its own…. When I turn any other amps on it starts. Horrible. My hum eliminator doesn’t touch it. Gonna try a 3 to 2 prong adapter and see if that fixes it. I really need to invest in some kind of power unit to help with this issue……

I wouldn't recommend using one of those adapters, they defeat the safety ground.

It’s a cheap passive two channel Pyle unit. Amazon 12$ special.

I usually place it between my effects and the amps inputs. Up front and the loop. That’s how I had it on the Windsor today. I found another noise maker. My rectifier foot switch was causing hum. I was kinda rearranged things and went to move it by pulling the cable and didn’t notice it was kinda hung on my mic stand. Soon as I tugged on it I pulled the cable out and the got noticeably quieter….

This is with a stereo setup right? You have two separate amps running?

That’s how I was running it with the Windsor. Honestly I can’t remember how I had it set up before…. Since I have switched to the rectifier and 6505 and using an aby I kinda quit using it.
