You Ever Have…

Most people lack fix-it skills big time these days. I did some side work as a handy man/general fix it guy for a while until I got sick of dealing with people. I did anything but electrical. That could've quickly spiraled into 100 hour work weeks especially since I already own a truck. I told most people "no" and got out of it altogether so I could finish my own house out.
I grew up where people took care of their own repairs unless it was something major. When I bought my first house at 21 I figured things out for myself to get stuff fixed up. My mindset is stuck where I assume most people do the same. I guess people now-a-days can't take care of stuff for themselves.

I don't have the money to hire someone to fix it so I didn't have a choice. I watched a lot of youtube videos and built a square box and called it home. I set it up so everything but the roof is easy to service. The wife demanded a 12/12 pitch and I foolishly complied, LOL.

Les Paul’s love Marshall’s. A Fender Twin to an LP is like the fat chick at the bar at 2:30 AM when there are no other options 🤣
Les Pauls sound absolutely killer through a Twin for blues or rock stuff.

I know, I was being a dick 😉

I tried to get into IBEW once

I was a navy communications electrician and had experience. phones, alarms and LV wiring

They had an open house and i showed up with my sep papers. I didn't have my DD214 yet because i still had 2 yrs active reserves

They asked me 3 questions all of which i said no. The prick told me dont come back until i can answer one yes.

1. Are you related to anyone in local 3.

2. Do i know anyone in local 3 who can sponsor me.

3. Do i know anyone in any other electrical union

Man was i fucking pissed off that day

I ended up working for neighborhood guys and they paid me well.
$8 an hour as a jr trainee.
Then $12 an hour as a mechanic.

Not bad for a single 21yo in 1986

Well, uh, shut the fuck up unless you have useful input..,
You seem moody like a bish, good luck anyway.
Suggesting someone hire an Electrician isn't un-resonable, its sound advice.
50 amps can flash & burn down your house in an instant.

You think what he had an issue with was you suggesting he hire an electrician ? I really can't reiterate this enough Dan, you are full on fucking retarded. And a compulsive liar. And a complete pussy "Bish".

Nice slanderous , ficticious attempt at character assasination, is that the "official"
spambot malware robot point of view for today ?
Your dictatious attacks clearly overkill & not relevant nor proportional to WTF
the subject matter at hand here is.
Anyone that would come to a "political" subforum on a washed up caulk rock
guitar forum seeking "electrical repair" advice is like trying to get a liver transplant
@ a used car lot.
Graveyards are full of cheap bastards that tried an "easier softer way."

Is your barometer of who is a "Spambot" just people who can actually spell at higher than a 3rd grade level ?

Don't look now Dan, but you assassinate your own character with every post you make.

The only people here who wouldn't like to punch you in the face are a Q Anon faggot who constantly talks about fucking guys in the ass and a mod who you gave a shitty guitar to. That's a clue Dan.

Why would a US Navy Vet have a picture of a Sistema Colt as his sig line ?

You're trying too hard fat ass. No one believes you.

Sounds like your dropping a phase.
Open main panel and check the 2 big wires at the lugs.

Also check the ground lug to see if its tight

Phase to phase you should have 220
Then
Phase to ground you should have 110

Unless one of the lugs are loose your going to need a pro.

Also problem can be at the Meter connection or up the pole at the bug connections

If you have aluminum wiring look for green corrosion
My shop/ pole bldg has its own meter and lost one leg of 220v. This is what they found....check top RH lug.
