not targeting you with this reply but the first time I choked a man out I almost killed him.
Sometimes I think instances like these are why the crime manslaughter was created.
Way back had a buddy I'd grown up with who did time for it.
Awesome family man who I'm pretty sure never got arrested in his life.
Brief bar parking lot spat. Hits the guy solid with one punch and the he breaks his neck
on a car bumper after stumbling.
Was in the news at the time. He was originally sentenced to a name prison close to Boston.
Very soon after he was quietly transferred to a place in western MA that that was more like
a fenced in dorm campus.
On the same note,
Was talking to a doc friend and he was telling me that early on with Covid when folks
didn't really know what was going on they kept getting people showing up at the ER
with blood/oxygen numbers that should have had them unconscious.
Said it was mostly fear based adrenaline keeping them going at that point.
