I think I'm going to try the Suhr Line out box live and see how it sounds.

I'm sure you realise, it'll sound like shit without speaker simulation! I meant for running to a desk for live recording, and applying cabs later.

The very best option for live simulation imo would be Muse Receptor 2 running Nebula Ownhammer impulses. Then possibly Torpedo PI-101 when it's released.

Or, use the Torpedo VB-101 hardware.

Next down from that Axefx running Ownhammer impulses.

After that, I have no idea, HD-500 maybe? It's all average at this point, unless I've missed something.

My $0.02, ymmv, etc etc... :D

no i didn't realise that so thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about running out of my preamp on one side to a power amp/cab simulator and to the board, but the only thing I could find that did this was a unit from two-note that costs like $2600 bucks. The Suhr ISO looked like a good idea but I guess it doesn't give you the the same input to the board a miked cab would. The issue is that our singer/rhythm player runs a BOSS GTX direct to board and we have a hard time getting balanced with me miking my cab. I think we just need a better sound guy.
