America is probably just as bad as here.
Really would depend where you were talking about. You'd fit in good in FL cause the weather is nice and there are minorities from all over the wold for you to bitch about.

The whole issue is futile. There is nothing I can do about it - but I'm sure if it's a melting pot in Florida I wouldn't really like it any more than I like here. I would prefer to live in some unaffected backwater - here or in the US.

Over here they are encouraging immigrants to go to rural areas - so they (the Govt) are doing their best to stuff my retirement plans right up.

I think you'd fit in on the nature coast. Warm weather and not quite as many minorities for you to bitch about as St. Pete/Tampa or Orlando.

There are still some places left here as well - it's finding them and knowing whether they'll stay that way... The problem is the further out you go the worse medical care there is for the elderly. Most of the major hospitals become problematic to get to from rural areas here. It's something I'll think about a solution to in a year or two though.

Not many here would drink Fosters - it'd be hard to even find at a bottleshop however it's a good effort and the vegemite would make up for it.

I still think if the USA charges places like Canada and Australia Tafiffs it's a shabby way to treat what are effectively your brothers. Two of the most similar countries in the world to yourselves. As for trying to take Canada over - I'd actually join the military to fight against that if I was young enough. That'd just be plain wrong. I don't like bully boys and if Trump is really serious about doing something like that it'd be exactly like I said about him. He has strong dictator/autocratic tendencies. I may hate the democrats but I also hate autocrats. Normal republicans are fine until they cross the line and convert into autocrats. Then the hate is strong in me.
We are a NATO member. If the USA attacked Canada, all the other NATO allies would help us defend our sovereign nation.
It's sad that we even have to talk about this. America and Canada have been closest friends and allies for over 100 years. It makes no sense to me.

That's what the short mustache guy said about Poland.

Yale University estimates that Trump's tariffs would cost the average American household $1,000 to $1,200 in annual purchasing power.

Gregory Daco, chief economist at the tax and consulting firm EY, calculates that the tariffs would increase inflation, which was running at a 2.9% annual rate in December, by 0.4 percentage points this year. Daco also projects that the U.S. economy, which grew 2.8% last year, would fall by 1.5% this year and 2.1% in 2026 “as higher import costs dampen consumer spending and business investment.

He's certainly done wonders for the price of eggs so far. Expecting more of the same winning from the tariffs. Those who voted for him can be sure to say thank you when you fill up your car soon.

You are an idiot, and pretending to be smart on an off topic sub forum for guitarist won’t change that. For China, that is 10% on top of what the current tariffs are. As for Mexico and Canada, the tariffs won’t last long, because their leaders are going to bend the knee and kiss the ring. You would know this if you bothered trying to learn things for yourself rather than repeating what you hear on fake news.
Just a reminder that I told you what was going to happen, and it happened today. Knees bent, rings as well as asses were kissed.
