Try a dedicated standalone input and out buffer. I made a few clones of the Pete Cornish buffer and I was shocked how well it works.

I got a stash.
I mix & match.
The OFA has two JRC 4558 op-amps piggybacked. Its tricky to solder together w/o the whole thing getting too hot.
