I bought a Mexican made Fender Blacktop Tele ( H / H set-up ) and dropped a Duncan Distortion in the bridge position....LOVE this guitar for metal. It plays and sounds fantastic. That Blacktop series are a great value in my option.

I guess opinions vary. I think a Tele is metal as hell. They're simple and crude and tough as nails.

I played a tele copy with a cheap kahler trem knockoff and one humbucker way back in '88. Total thrash machine. Didn't give a fuck how retarded it looked,I loved it.

My main guitar is a Suhr T with 2 BKP Aftermath - crushes for Metal.
Also had a 335 that sounded ginormous for metal - big punchy low, feedback was cool too.

It was spandex and heels,thank you very much! I got too many people complaining they could see up my dress when I was onstage...I refuse to manscape!

Well the one dress was a spandex mini skirt. So I got a little confused.
