I still dk how this is different from the Super Distortion other than the slug and screws
 
Yes , the description has been lacking on their website for months. It is described the same way as the super D. Get on it Dinarzio. Looks cooler though..
 
How much different sounding is a bridge DPAF vs. DsuperD?
 
I swapped out the stock JB in my Fender CS strat for one of these back in June. A 100% improvement! It is very slightly less output than the regular SD with a couple of slight changes to the mids.

Is there note separation and clarity or is it still quite compressed?
 
Could he cool of it drives the same but doesn’t have that mid honk they usually have.

There is still that compression as it always has had, but it isn't as much.
However, at least with my setup on either Soldano, there is more clarity there compared to the previous regular SuperD that I was using. Now, bear in mind, mine has the aged cover so that also may affect how it sounds. Again, this is on my setup and what I am hearing from it.

Either way, I'm really happy with it and it is staying put.
