I like the premise of the show, but I haven't watched it consistently ever. They could have done so much more with it than what they do. They have 23 minutes, do a 3-5 minute monologue if they want to maintain the late night feel, commercial and then get right to the interview. It's VH1 so they have the rights to play the bands video, so interview for five minutes, play video to give the artist a plug. Return from commercial and interview another five to ten minutes and promo the next guest...fade.
It's not that hard to actually provide, you know, content.
